House Pathakams in village
In olden days houses in villages mostly huts or Tiled roof houses(పెంకుటిల్లులు) but nowadays
in villages also constructions are updated they also preferring R.c.c roof houses.
But believing in vasthu in villages more than Cities, So in villages, they will construct houses as per pathakam,
Pathakam means the inner area of the house is constructed within mentioned areas, they believe the construction of the house using pathakam will give good wealth to them there are different pathakams some of them are
꩐ 39 Pathakam
꩐ 49 Pathakam
꩐ 63 Pathakam
꩐ 79 Pathakam Etc...
What those numbers indicating is Square Yards means 39 Syd, 49 Syd Etc.
Plan showing in the above image is 63 pathakam means the inner area of the house is 63.00 Syd
By using pathakam also we will construct a house as cities but the disadvantage by using pathakam is if we draw a plan for 63 syd as shown in the above image if the client wants to increase one or two feet in any room for his comfort there is no chance why because,
If we increase 2 feet in width it becomes 29'
Then the inner area changes to 63 syd to 67.66 it means the house is not as per pathakam if he wants to increase any room sizes he will change his plan to next pathakam which is 79 pathkam
Note: I don't know clearly all villages will use this Pathakam for their house constructions.
