Position of rooms in house

 

When we planning for the residential house we all follow vasthu because of beliefs but vasthu is not only about Superstitious belief there are some scientific reasons for placing of rooms in the house

                     The first thing is facing house is decided by the location of the road if the road is located at the north side the house is north face house basically people believe north, east face houses give good wealth to them.

                     And another thing in the house plan the position of the rooms for every room has a specific reason to place is either vasthu or scientific reason.

                     Before learning about the position of rooms located in the house first we can see how we divide home or place it into four directions. 

Divide the plot into four equal parts and then each equal part becomes one corner of the house at some time we have to provide rooms related to another room then we divide that room same as four equal parts.

Let see the position of different rooms     

Hall: Hall should be placed at the north-east corner for sunrises and the north-east is a symbol of water

that's why borewell is located in the north-east corner.

Kitchen: Kitchen should be placed at the south-east corner and the south-east corner  is a symbol of fire

Master Bedroom: Master bedroom should be placed at the south-west corner and it is a symbol of earth 

and another reason is the owner of the house always sleep at the south-west corner.

Children Bedroom: Children bedroom should be placed at the north-west corner and it is a symbol of air.

Puja: There are two options for puja room they are north-east corner and south-west corner at olden days puja room located in the south-west corner but nowadays puja is placing at the north-east corner.

Toilet: Toilet is a very important thing to place in the home because in olden days toilets should not provide inside the home because people think it is not good to place god and toilet in one house but nowadays as per safety reasons toilets are allowing in the home but there one condition toilet should not be in the northeast or south-west corner of any room.
